Ross Allchurch’s music fuses a diverse range of styles from experimental electronica to alternative rock and is often highly cinematic.
Based in London (UK), Ross Allchurch began writing music aged 16 before going on to study Music Technology at Canterbury College. He graduated from the University of Kent, with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Creative Music Production in 2005. He now works as a singer/songwriter and free-lance composer for dance-theatre, film, animation and video games.
Described as “enigmatic” (Graham Watts) and “diverse and intelligent” (TheReviewsHub)”, Ross Allchurch recently composed the music for the world-premiere HOME, for the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago, following the “vibrant and filmic” (FringeReview) score for Skin, by 201 Dance Company.
Previous credits include Boxes by Purple Theatre; I Love Myself Do You? by MCDC (Michaela Cisarikova Dance Company), TED Ed, film-maker Glen Delahaye and Documentary Photographer Edward Thompson.
